Grandmaster  Lam Chun Sing’s 2004 European Tour

In May of 2004, Grandmaster Lam Chun Sing spent over 3 weeks in Europe to teach and spread his family style in Czech Republic and Slovakia. In addition to the extensive series of seminar series which featured different aspects of the style, Grandmaster Lam conducted workshops and taught many private lessons as well.

Grandmaster Lam’s first stop was Czech Republic. The workshops and seminars in Prague were organized by Pavel Macek of the Czech Hung Ga Gung Fu Association. Here Grandmaster Lam gave seminars on the different Hand, Weapon and Counterstrike Forms of Hung Gar, including; Gung Ji Fook Fu Kuen, Lau Gar Kuen, Seung Tou Gwan, Fu Hok Deui Chaak, Gung Ji Deui Chaak and Daan Do Deui Cheung to name a few. Students were thrilled to be learning directly from Grandmaster Lam Chun Sing himself. Besides corrections and teaching these Sets thoroughly, section by section, Grandmaster Lam also concentrated on explaining, demonstrating and teaching the proper usage of each technique in great detail to ensure the students had a firm understanding of what they were learning. Grandmaster Lam also encouraged all of the students to ask questions, giving individual instruction on how each student can improve and advance their skills. The seminars were most definitely an eye opening event, and a wonderful experience for all.

From Prague, Grandmaster Lam then traveled to Slovakia, at the invitation of Ján Hrankay, Hung Kuen Gung Fu Slovakia. There Grandmaster Lam gave seminars and private lessons on the Lau Gar Kuen, Gung Ji Fook Fu Kuen, Fu Hok Seung Ying Kuen, Mui Fa Ying Cheung and Seung Tou Gwan technique.
